Y2Mate is a free browser-based downloader for YouTube videos and audio. You paste a video link or search by keyword on the homepage, pick a format and quality, and the site generates a file you save to your device. The site says it also handles links from Facebook, Vimeo, Dailymotion and other platforms.

Video can be saved as MP4 at 360p, 720p, 1080p or up to 4K (2160p) when the source offers it, and the site also lists 3GP, WEBM, AVI, FLV, WMV and M4A. Audio can be converted to MP3 at 64, 128, 192, 256 or 320kbps. Nothing needs to be installed: it runs in Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge on Windows, Mac, Android and iPhone, and on iOS the site recommends Safari on iOS 13 or later.
