Overview

Seedle is a daily browser game built around Minecraft world generation. Every day it rolls one seed that everyone shares, scans the 2048x2048 blocks around the origin, and awards emeralds for what generated there. The seed resets at midnight Eastern, and you can paste it into Minecraft to load the same world.

Scoring uses 111 rules covering structures (villages, mansions, monuments, strongholds, ancient cities, trial chambers and more), biome coverage, the world spawn location, and how close structures sit to each other. Rarer rules pay more, with payouts based on sampling hundreds of thousands of seeds. Your daily total lands on a ladder from coal to netherite, and a typical day is lapis.

The scan uses cubiomes, a reference implementation of Minecraft world generation, against Java 1.21.3. You can play without an account, with progress kept in your browser, or sign in with Discord to keep your history and streak and compare scores with people who share a Discord server with you. A Lab page lets you describe a world and scan random seeds for matches, and the site is available in 23 languages.
